Jotunheimen – Glittertind – Veodalen

The Glittertind is the second highest mountain in Norway, 2’452 meters above sea level, just 17 feet lower than the Galdhöpiggen. – Combined car, bike and hiking tour from Randsverk.
From here, you drive 24 km on the toll road to the Jotunheimen National Park boundary. Here you can park and walk or ride on bike to “Glitterheim” where the climb on foot up to the Glittertind begins. A fantastic day trip in the realm of the reindeer and the beautiful mountains of Jotunheimen.
Veodalen – day trip for the whole family
From Randsverk, a dirt road leads 24 km to Veodal on the boundary of the national park. This is the same route as to Glitterheim / Glittertind. Veodal is true Norwegian mountain nature and during the summer, there is a good chance to see reindeer.
In the river Veo, big trout (1.5 kg) romp and they are caught with worms, flies and lures. The water level may change very quickly because of the melting water and the precipitation. The water colour also plays an important role when fishing. In our shop, you will receive the latest reports and information on possible changes before you start the tour.
