Through Ridderspranget roars the river Sjoa with ice-cold glacier water from Gjende and the Jotunheimen National Park. The gorge measures about 2.5 meters at its narrowest point. The rocks are plane and sometimes slippery, so you must be careful here. Respect the safety regulations and facilities.
Good paths lead through the wild landscape, both above and below Ridderspranget. Also take your time to read the story about “Sigvat from Kvie” and “Skårvangssola” on the information boards at the parking lot.
